★ There are tiny pores on the surface of pearls. If pearls are in polluted air, they will absorb impurities from the air. Be especially careful in the kitchen, wearing beautiful pearls when cooking. Steam and oil fumes may seep into the pearls, causing them to turn yellow.
★ After wearing pearls, try not to clean the pearl necklace with water. Use a soft and damp towel to carefully wipe it clean, let it dry naturally, and then put it back in the jewelry box to maintain the luster of the pearls. It is best to use sheepskin or delicate velvet instead of facial paper, as the friction of some facial paper can wear down the pearls and cause the surface of the pearls to lose its luster.
★ It is necessary to have close contact with air and not to seal pearls for a long time. Occasionally take them out to air dry and let them breathe.
★ Due to the presence of a certain amount of moisture in pearls, they should be placed in a cool and shady place, avoiding direct sunlight to prevent dehydration, yellowing, or loss of luster.
